Sven Kohlhaas

Hi there, I'm Sven Kohlhaas. Experienced leader and an expert in the platform and application development and operations areas with over a decade of experience in the IT industry. Nevertheless, at heart, I'm a software engineer delivering customer value. I currently work as Senior Customer Success Executive for SAP at Red Hat. When not at work, I'm a passionate race cyclist, as well as fitness and personal development enthusiast. I live near Walldorf, Germany.

Before my current role at Red Hat, I worked for over a decade in various roles at SAP. Those roles included software development manager in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) with responsibilities across several software development teams in the area of SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry Runtime and SAP Private Link service, executive assistant and customer/partner officer of the head of SAP Cloud Platform Core with a 1000+ development organization, product manager for SAP Cloud Platform and SAP HANA Platform, and initially as software developer in the research center in Karlsruhe working on performance engineering topics and then as software developer in the labs in Palo Alto, CA, USA.

My great leisure is fitness. I love cycling and running, as well as weight training in the gym. My focus is on race cycling, everything else is mostly done in support of that. Since a couple years I picked up race cycling again after having paused for a while and before that having competed successfully for over a decade.
