👋 Hi, I’m Samuel Kemp — a second-generation tourism professional, lifelong learner, and passionate world explorer.

🏨 I proudly run A1 Apartments Aruba, a trusted budget-friendly accommodation in the heart of Oranjestad. Founded by my parents over 40 years ago, this family-run business continues to serve travelers looking for authentic, affordable stays in Aruba. With over 30 years of hands-on experience in the tourism industry, I’m dedicated to preserving local hospitality while modernizing the guest experience.

🛃 Before stepping fully into tourism, I served for 13 years in law enforcement and customs, shaping a deep respect for integrity, people, and global cooperation.

💻 I hold a Computer Science degree from the U.S. and remain an active programmer and tech enthusiast. I combine this technical mindset with my travel passion as the founder of A1ARUBA Travel Club LLC, a brand focused on budget travel, culture, and human connection across the Caribbean and Latin America.

🐾 I’m also an animal lover and committed humanist, believing that travel should be compassionate, inclusive, and inspiring.
