Damilola Babatunde is a Peacebuilder and Gender Equality Advocate. He is the Executive Director of Young Changemakers Foundation (YCF); a youth-led and impact-oriented organization that is focused on positively transforming people and communities through peacebuilding initiatives/projects.

He is also the former Head of Programs at Generation Action Africa; an international NGO that aims to engage African youths for the purpose of catalyzing continental growth and development.

He is passionate and engaged with peacebuilding, gender equality, project management and international development.

He has worked with several local and international organizations and has actively participated in numerous social impact projects and advocacy programs that have made tremendous impact.

Damilola is a United Nations Academic Impact Millennium Fellow, United States Institute of Peace (USIP) Generation Change Fellow, Harvard Business School Crossroads Emerging Leader, WE54 Young African Leader, member of the Global Health Workforce Network of World Health Organization (WHO), Women Deliver Young Leader, Alumni of "Raise Your Voice with Malala" (which was supported and sponsored by Malala Fund and Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai), among other notable international fellowships.

He has spoken at several international events in different parts of the world.

In 2019, he was recognized by His Holiness the Dalai Lama (Nobel Peace Laureate) for his outstanding peacebuilding and humanitarian works and was invited to his residence in Dharmsala, India. He was a delegate to the World Youth Forum 2019 in Sharm El Sheikh, under the auspices of the President of Egypt.

Due to his outstanding contribution to peacebuilding and humanitarianism, he was appointed as a Youth Ambassador for Young Utopians e.V; an organization based in Germany and The Institute for Economics and Peace; a global think tank headquartered in Sydney, Australia with branches in New York City, Mexico City and The Hague.

Damilola has participated in consultation meetings for;

1)WHO learning strategy and "Big Ideas" for the future of learning and training, which was organized by World Health Organization.

2) UN75 Global Governance Forum Innovation Track which was organized for the purpose of promoting a more inclusive and effective United Nations and was coordinated by The Stimson Center, One Earth Future Foundation, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung New York Office, Global Challenges Foundation, and Global Governance Philanthropy Network.
