On a hiatus from working full time in higher education since 2016, Henry Goodelman has launched community-driven renewable energy campaigns to ramp-up the distribution of government-funded solar panels to an unprecedented pace. Living in Brooklyn, Henry serves as the Executive Director of ReJews, Chief Consultant for Institutional Connections, and virtual adviser for the online high school guidance program PA E-Mentoring, but finds it hard to stay away from campus-focused conferences, seminars, and discussion forums. Originally from both Atlantic City and Philadelphia, Henry founded the ReJews 501c3 nonprofit organization to promote sustainability and social entrepreneurship initiatives that educate and inform communities across the country, and around the world. An informed, forward-thinking student services administrator, Henry relishes working in academic guidance, career services, and enrollment management, and is excited by distance learning, degree progress reports, transcript formatting, retention, and transfer credit processing. Focused on supporting institutional success by improving student support services and resources, Henry has been fortunate to have his Institutional Connections ICLLC consultancy firm invited by countless administrative staff to edit resumes, and help select platform service vendors that best streamline office processes to mainstream the operations of campus resources. A former Admissions Counselor at the Lander Colleges of the Touro College and University System, Henry has also served as the Assistant Director of Application Management for the School of Arts and Sciences at Drexel University, and worked for two online academic programs. Having earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in psychology and applied developmental psychology, before taking time to move to Israel for the opportunity to learn and work at Aish HaTorah, Henry was awarded a Masters of Education in Higher Education Management and Student Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. Led by his commitment to implementing programming, measuring results, and giving practical insight about next steps forward, whether with ReJews, ICLLC, or with some of the other volunteer efforts Henry contributes time, Henry takes great delight in opening new channels for communication in collaborative ventures with corporate partners and fellow entrepreneurs to work towards helping create a better future for all.
