Hello, I'm a freelance Photographer and Picture Editor based in Berlin. My educational background in art history, graphic design, printmaking and photographic arts have all benefited the way that I interpret life through a lens today. Having the luck of being Irish, German and American, I feel especially drawn to revisiting the countries that shape my own identity.
My personal photography is based on conceptual ideas surrounding contemporary cultural debate. My imagery explores divided and conflicted spaces that affect national and global identity. My larger series reflect my ongoing interest in vanishing divides between people as well as the change in geographical landscape without militarised borders in Berlin and Northern Ireland.
I work as a freelance photographer in Berlin creating portraiture, fashion, product and events photography. Over the last few years I have also shot behind the scenes on set of short films and music videos in London as well as Berlin.
