i was born & raised in manila, philippines :: served in the US navy from 1992 through 2003 ♏ art is the one thing for sure i'm very passionate about -the process of creating, relating, and expressing are simply wonderful feelings :: next to art is architecture, it has been a major interest in my life for as long as I can remember :: my early works were mostly influenced by my interests in the classical and renaissance period, i used to think in details, strict proportion, and symmetry :: in the late 1990's while visiting the Guggenheim in New York, seeing a Rothko painting was such a remarkable "discovery" of a moment which soon after sensitively navigated me to work on color expression, shapes, & textures...my works remain a working progress...
