Born and raised in Darien, CT, I've spent most of my life making things beautiful—either by restoring them to their natural states, or conceiving and designing new looks most often using using reclaimed materials.

In 2001, I started my own decorative arts & design studio Finishing Impressions, which is based in a unique Bridgeport artist community, 305 Knowlton Street.

My services include:

Decorative painted/glazed finishes for furniture, ceilings, floors, walls.

Troweled plaster finishes using traditional and contemporary materials and techniques, including Venetian and Old World mediums.

Artistic ornamentation - renderings, hand-painted designs, geometric patterns and scrollwork, murals, including trompe l'oiel, faux bois (woodgraining) and faux stone (marbles and other stone)

I'm honored to work with many noted interior designers as well as discerning homeowners seeking custom home decor treatments, and my residential work can be found throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties, Manhattan and other New England locations.

I'm a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY and currently live in the historic Black Rock section of Bridgeport, CT with my wife and two young sons.
