Susanne Lieu (New York)

An accomplished real estate professional, Susanne Lieu possesses a broad background of training and experience in her field. In preparation for her career, she attended The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she completed a bachelor of science in economics with a focus on accounting. Later, Susanne Lieu gained admittance to the Northwestern University School of Law. There, she earned placement on the dean’s list, contributed to the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business, and graduated with a juris doctor.

After attaining her law degree, Susanne Lieu began work as a judicial clerk for the Bankruptcy Court of the Northern District of Illinois under the Honorable Eugene R. Wedoff, followed by a position as an associate with Schwartz, Cooper, Greenberger & Krauss Chartered. Subsequently, she focused on matters of real estate at Mayer Brown and at Shearman and Sterling, LLP. At present, Ms. Lieu maintains in-house counsel responsibilities and acts as an asset manager in the role of managing director at Ruben Companies in New York City.
