Shaquana Chaneyfield is a student and communications strategist with three years of professional experience in the field of political campaigns, strategic communications and public affairs. She has a focus on urban policy issues affecting marginalized communities, specifically economic development, homelessness and hunger, transportation, arts and culture and child welfare.

Shaquana is passionate about community, ensuring that marginalized youth have a seat at the table, and increasing diversity in government.

She recently completed an internship in December with the White House's Office of Presidential Personnel, where she handled the Economics and Justice portfolio. Shaquana is in love with all things New York, and is consistently looking for ways in which she can improve the community at large.

Shaquana is a native of Mt. Vernon, NY in Westchester County and a student at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY majoring in sociology. She isfan of coffee, music and New York City.
