Simone Slaughter has extensive experience in Brand Management, Promotions and Strategic Marketing, Creative Development and Production - with a strong background in Music and Entertainment.
After graduating Cum Laude from Georgia State University, Simone increased her professional drive and elevated her personal brand.
As a valuable team member, Simone was instrumental behind the scenes in branding and catapulting the careers of music recording artists such as Universal/Young Money Entertainment artist, Nicki Minaj, and Warner Bros. rappers, Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame and more. Having previously worked with independent artists and music labels before collaborating on these mainstream acts, Simone's combination of skill, education and experience prepared her for career-elevating opportunities. Working these projects simultaneously as Publicity Coordinator and Product Manager, Simone created and implemented strategic promotional and branding strategies, and generated press and online campaigns to increase awareness and relevance of some of today's hottest talents in Hip Hop.
Simone was the creator, producer and on-air personality for TheER (Entertainment Room), formerly on Be100 Radio - previously featured on the VH1 hit reality show, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. At Be100 Radio, Simone also contributed to business operations as the Station Coordinator.
Additionally, in 2014 Simone created the #NoRIP (No Reckless Internet Posting) Campaign, also seen on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
In 2015, Simone expanded into television and film with Atlanta-based Swirl Films/The Swirl Group, hired as Operations Manager, and was also charged with developing marketing initiatives for the company. Here, Simone grew as a producer. She produced two episodes of docu-series "ChangeMakers," which featured Big Boi and Kandi Burruss, and aired on Magic Johnson's ASPiRE network. She has worked as Producer's Assistant on the TV One comedy series "Born Again Virgin" and "Here We Go Again", and Bounce TV's "Saints and Sinners", as well as several other TV movies. She earned additional producer credits on the stage play "Ladies Book Club" which stars Angell Conwell, Lyriq Bent, Jackee Harry, Elise Neal and the stage play "Addicted To You" starring LeToya Luckett - both of which went to DVD. Simone handled all cast and talent as a producer on the TV One hit reality show "Rickey Smiley For Real" (season 3).
