Shakeel Ali is an Educator, Entrepreneur, and Gun Violence Survivor. He has worked tirelessly for over 30 years advocating for youth and families in the Education, Foster Care, and Juvenile Justice Systems. Ali is the founder of A.S.K Academy, (Alternative School of Knowledge) and creator of Stop B.S. or the (Stop Bullying System). The mission of ASK Academy is "Improving The Lives of Our Most Vulnerable Youth, through K-12 Retention and Redirection" The mission of Stop B.S. is "Providing the best Tools and Techniques for Preventing Bullying and Cyber Bullying." Shakeel Ali has in-depth knowledge of the Education and Non-profit arenas, firsthand experience with government agencies and philanthropic organizations, and proven skills at managing large organizations. Born in San Francisco and raised in Midway Village in Daly City, Ali is currently a veteran member of the Jefferson Elementary School District Board of Trustees. Ali has served as Vice-President twice and President twice. His District comprises Daly City, Colma, and a small portion of Pacifica. Shakeel's responsibilities include ensuring 6,000 students and 600 employees have well run Human Resources, Curriculum and Instruction, Special Education, Finance and Facilities departments.
