SERIEZ

INLAND EMPIRE, CALIFORNIA

It's hard to ignore the charming smile, appealing visage, and addicting personality of Mike "Seriez" Miranda, but it's his killer lyrics over fire beats that set this rising rap star apart from the rest.

Born and raised in the Inland Empire region of southern California, Seriez grew up in a musically inclined family with a church background. As a teenager, Seriez was influenced by 80s and 90s rap, with Tupac and Nas becoming his favorite artists. While attending Chaffey High School, Seriez focused his attention on playing basketball, but his passion for music continued to grow. A natural born writer, Seriez transformed poems he had written, into songs, launching his gradual transition into a rap artist.

After graduating from high school, Seriez teamed up with his brother Big Lee and their friend Louis to form a club promotions squad, eventually collaborating with rap artist Glasses Malone to promote his events and shows from 2004-2007. Inspired by learning the structure and groundwork that goes into successful promoting, Seriez decided to step out on his own.

A turning point came in 2009 when the budding artist officially dubbed himself "Seriez." With a drive to succeed as an artist, Seriez released his first body of work in 2009 – a mixtape titled "The Empire Strikez." Then in 2010, the local sensation released the EP "LAMBO Musik," and developed an LP version for release in 2011 with the hot single "She's So Amazing."

After generating a growing buzz for his music, Seriez utilized the business knowledge he had acquired over the years to launch his own independent label called "World Class L.A.M.B.O. (Let All Motivation Be Obsessive) Musik Group." The team consisted of Big Lee as his manager, KP for promotions and marketing, J-Money for promotions, and DJ Will Supreme.

Now, with a strong team behind him, a growing fan base and a drive stronger than ever, Seriez is set to release his next album titled "The Diary of L.M." – an ode to his government name "Larry Miranda." The album's first single "Partier," featuring Hype Louis and Evenodds, has already attracted a slew of new fans for the IE native.

Inspired by his 6-year-old daughter, Seriez is determined to succeed no matter what obstacles may stand in his way. With his new album, future plans of national radio play, major features and becoming a household name, there's just no stopping Mike "Seriez" Miranda.
