Mr. Converse has been a senior corporate executive who has worked for fortune 50 companies like Apple Computer, Motorola, Paramount Pictures/Viacom, and MCI and has founded several startup companies including pioneers like ClickCaster, one of the first podcasting companies, and Medioh, one of the original Smart TV App creation and publishing platforms for companies like Samsung and Sony. Mr. Converse also founded The Longmont Observer, a locally-focused non-profit newsroom acquired by McClatchy/Google and Longmont Public Media, a Public Access TV Media Makerspace testing out new models of media creation and ways to fund it, as well as TinkerMill, one of the largest Makerspaces in the U.S. in his hometown of Longmont, CO. He also was the co-founder of ExtractCraft which was born and incubated at TinkerMill.
