WHAT DO I DO?

I am a spoken word poet with a background storytelling in green spaces.

I receive bookings to create new work, perform and deliver creative workshops.

PREVIOUS WORK...

Highlights have included performing poetry alongside Lebo Mashile and Keorapetse Kgositsile (South Africa's previous National Poet Laureate), creating a poem for Nigeria House 2012 Olympics and creating Secret Garden storytelling experiences in green spaces MMU Playful Learning Conference, Festival Of The Imagination and Hulme Community Garden Centre.

Other appearances: The British Library (Under Her Eye), The National Portrait Gallery (Everything You Can Imagine Is Real), The Bridgewater Hall (Pop Up Poetry), Goldsmiths University (Black Futures), Rich Mix (Afro Tech Fest) and Latitude festival.

At the start of her career Nike won the first Flying Solo competition (Contact) securing a commission and tour. She went on to win a nationwide search by National Youth Theatre producing her first play "In Care". She was one of two chosen to represent the UK as digital storyteller in South Africa for British Council Collab Now Now with artists from across the continent.
