I am entering my 14th year of the teaching profession by starting a new position at the Western Wayne School District! Go Wildcats!

I spent the previous 13 years employed by Sayre Area School District in Sayre, PA where I served many roles including Department Chair & sophomore class adviser.

I am honored to be working with the best as a member of the Western Wayne High School English Department!

For the 2020-21 term I will be instructing American Literature, American Literature Honors, Multicultural Literature, and SAT Reading. Additionally, I will be a grader for the Virtual Learning Academy.

In 2007 I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wilkes University with a Bachelor of Arts in English with certification in Secondary Education & a minor in Gender Studies. I returned to my Alma Mater to complete a Master of Science in Education: 21st Century Teaching & Learning graduating in 2014.

My particular pedagogical interests include literacy, Edtech, Socratic Seminars, and Inquiry-based learning.

In my personal life, I enjoy reading, hiking, practicing restorative yoga, shopping at HomeGoods, and spending time with my husband and 4-year old daughter, Brinley.

I am so excited to now call Wayne County my home!
