Mike Rosen

Mike Rosen is an award-winning poet and a master of shenanigans. He is the manager of a really fun band called The Rooks and spends his time working with young artists to develop their craft into an enjoyable and sustainable practice.

Mike was named Best Male Poet at the 2011 Wade-Lewis Poetry Slam Invitational and led Wesleyan University’s slam poetry team to 7th in the nation and the Spirit of the Slam Award at the 2011 College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational.

Mike was a finalist at the Rustbelt Regional Poetry Slam in 2012 and a member of the legendary Spoken Word Almanac Project in New York City.

When not performing poems, Mike serves as the digital strategy and club marketing manager at The Bowery Presents, a concert promoter in NYC. He’s a social media geek, he loves music, he likes you, and he uses the choreography from “Backstreet’s Back” as his rain dance. Rock on.

To contact Mike about booking, casual “howdys”, and, of course, shenanigans just send him an email using the button above (or the old fashioned way: mike AT thenewconfusion DOT com). You can also use the links below to like him on Facebook and follow him on Twitter!
