I was born and raised in a small Eastern European country, Slovakia. By winning a school competition at the age of 15, I jumped at the opportunity to live, study and travel across the US with a host family, which proved to be a life changing experience.

In 2000, I found myself volunteering at the Olympic Games in Sydney. For 8 years I studied and worked hard to make Australia my second home - I volunteered as a Surf Lifesaver and studied the art of Digital storytelling to be able to capture my experiences and stories of others.

I love spending my time in the outdoors, particularly out in the Ocean. I love freediving, long distance ocean swimming, canyoning, rock-climbing, catching waves on a surf ski or bush walking with my young family.

In 2011 I swam 133m on a single breath in a freediving competition, the longest dynamic swim by a woman in Australia at the time. The extraordinary feeling of swimming with a monofin inspired me to start my business, No Ripples. I’ve developed a unique Ocean education program for kids 7-14 and fitness program for adults, combining fitness and fun. After the first successful season in Sydney and in Wollongong, the programs will be accessible at Great Barrier Reef resorts and in all Australian capital cities in summer 2017/2018.

I'm a proud mum of 3 (3,3,5). My aim is to live life to the fullest, challenge myself in life and in business and have a positive impact on the world.
