He also acquire some professional certifications to enhance his Prehospital Medicine career from the National Health Care Provider Solutions in conjunction with Post-Graduate Institute of Medicine, USA in CPR, AED & First Aid, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

He also possess other valid non-medical professional certifications such as Fundamental of Digital Marketing by Google Digital Skills for Africa among other entrepreneurial certification courses.

Joseph Olamide Alao is popularly referred to as "Medicpreneur" after emerging as the first successful entrepreneurial Paramedic in Nigeria to establish a private emergency medical services company known as Medevac Nigeria Limited in January, 2019.

Medicpreneur is the founder of the Nigeria Paramedics Forum NPF, an online platform that was created to unite all the paramedics and students across Nigeria for professional development, international standard of prehospital medicine update and emergency medical services' advocacy.

NPF was also created for enlightening the public for the relevance of Paramedics as true healthcare provider and as the missing link in Nigeria health sector for provision of prehospital/emergency care that is currently lacking in Nigeria.
