Mark Levine

I am the CEO of Hillcrest Media Group, Inc., a Minneapolis, Minnesota based book publisher. We provide book publishing, printing, distribution, book marketing, and ebook creation / distribution to individual authors and publishers (from micro presses to medium-sized companies).

We have grown from a small self-publishing company in 2006 to a multifaceted publishing technology company today. We have patent-pending ebook conversion software that takes one master ebook file and instantly formats it perfectly for all Kindle devices, all Apple devices, all Nook devices, and in a format to be used on all other tablets, smart phones and computers. Additionally, we created our own book publishing workflow system that has 1,800 possible publishing steps that can be combined in thousands of ways so that our customers can create unique publishing plans.

Our company has grown to more than 25 employees and in 2013 Hillcrest Media was recognized by Twin Cities Business Magazine as one of the Ten Small Business Success Stories for that year.

I am also the author of three books, including The Fine Print of Self-Publishing, now in its fifth edition (2014) (other editions were in 2003, 2006, 2008, 2011).
