Mama said I was singing before I could talk.. It's like breathing for me,natural. After my 1st onstage solo performance @ 6,& I was hooked! Fronted bands,Loose Talk,Geneva,& The Tag,touring regionally,throughout the NW in the 80's.The 90's brought long awaited motherhood,& determined to give it all I had,I traded in my gig bag for a diaper bag,& jumped in with both feet!

Started over in the music business at 49,7 years ago.Within 3 years,wrote,recorded,& financed a studio CD, completing it with a successful Kickstarter.com campaign, the first blues artist in Portland to do so. "Proof" hit #1 on the Roots Music Charts 11/4/11,& stayed on the top 10 over 12 weeks."Proof" continues to chart in the top 50 on RMR Internet/Blues since it's release,& has featured on more than 100 shows worldwide,to date.

Founder/Producer-NW Roots Uprising-a cross-genre pollination/collaboration music/art/performance project, "NW Roots Uprising"Vol.1 EP features 5 of the finest NW's "roots" based artists.Honored to have Kevin Nettleingham,of www.nettleinghamaudio.com,as my co-producer.

After producing latest release,"Destination Clarksdale",an original EP featuring songs penned by myself,& duo partner,2x IBC Finalist,Ben Rice,we're looking forward to competing in the 31st Annual 2015 International Blues Challenge,Jan.20-24,2015.
