Loredana Leska

I am an artist currently living in UK. My interests range from arts to painting.

My artwork is often abstract in nature and is in constant movement.

It explores emotional symbolism, shape, colour and expressionistlandscapes.

I use a variety of materials and processes in my work, linked by recurring formal concerns and through a variety of subject matter. This often determines the media I will use to express the content and formal elements. These forms develop over several works, grouped around similar themes.

I am interested in intergenerational processes, working with my daughter producing work together or separately, with many actions overlapping and then separating. This has produced a huge body of work and is an ongoing engagement within my practice.

Currently my work reproduces familiar visual and aural signs, often working with my own poetry and listening live to others arranging them into new conceptually layered installations on canvas and paper.
