Natasha A. Williams is the Coordinator for Student Life & Development at Morgan State University where she is responsible for Student Programming, advising the Student Government Association, Campus Activities Board, Mister & Miss Morgan State University, Civic Engagement/ Community, Student Organizations, Leadership Development, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Special Events (i.e.: Homecoming, Pageants, Conferences etc.) and the overall supervision of all Office of Student Life & Development professional staff and para-professional student employees.
With over 12 years of Student Affairs experience, Williams has a passion for developing future leaders by providing tools to succeed. She has a Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Studies with a Public Relations Concentration. By combining her skills in both fields, Natasha creates a comprehensive programming model that utilizes media arts and technological resources.
Prior to Morgan State, Williams served as the Associate Director of Student Life and the Director of Greek Life at LIU Brooklyn. While serving in her capacity at LIU Brooklyn, Williams proudly coordinated the University Blood Drives, collecting over 500 pints and saving over 1,500 lives across New York City. Additionally, she provided an eclectic civic engagement calendar, which included community service opportunities. As the Director of Greek Life, Williams implemented policies, tracked the progress of all Fraternities/Sororities on campus and was responsible for Greek Life Expansion at the University.
Prior to joining the team at LIU Brooklyn, Williams worked at Morgan State University where she served as the Assistant Coordinator of Student Activities. During her years as the Assistant Coordinator, Williams provided the following services: 1)Special Event Planning (Conferences, Summits, Pageants and Leadership Series), 2) Greek Life Advisor where she did policy implementation, trainings, retreats , fundraisers, as well as leadership development and 3) Student Organization liaison between the Office of Student Activities, Student Affairs and other campus departments.
