La Shauna “L.E.” Nichols, has worked consistently in the tech and engineering space for nearly 15 years. She is a tech writer, community builder and Engineering Leader who lives in tech capital, San Francisco Bay Area.

L.E. continues to foster initiatives in STEM as Manager, Infrastructure & Backend Engineering at Scratch, the leading learn-to-code platform for k12 aged students serving over 100million users worldwide.

In 2016, L.E. founded Black WPT, a global career focus network of nearly 4,800 Black Technologists. She continued to outreach within the engineering space and was featured at SXSW on the BWISE IoT panel in 2018.

L.E. serves on the advisory committee at several California based school districts to support tech focused programming including tech pathways for school aged youth. In 2015, L.E. graduated from Colorado Tech University with her Masters of Science degree in Information Technology Management.
