Katherine is a writer and editor for hire.

In 2015 she founded "Screen Scholars" with former colleagues; the entertainment and culture blog updates daily. Last year she started the NYC-centric "A Girl in Gotham." It features a series highlighting the pandemic experience in and outside of New York City. She is also the founder of "Lessons for Old People," an eleven-year-old project which aims to educate retirees regarding matters of technology and pop culture.

Previously employment includes startups Samsung PX-NYC and Get Glue and publishers Dell Magazines and InvestorPlace Media. Her work has appeared in Baltimore's City Paper, Laughing Squid, xoJane, Quarterlette, Spinner, Robot Butt, and Thought Catalog.

A photographer, her anthotypes were published in Anthotypes – Explore the darkroom in your garden and make photographs using plants in 2011. Her fiber art appeared in the Jean Lafitte National Historic Park and Preserve's Snoball Art Show in 2016.

An avid gardener, Katherine is a volunteer and member of her neighborhood garden. She is a green-vest volunteer for Medora's Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (2017-present) and Celebrate Brooklyn! volunteer (2015-present).
