Dr. Juhem Navarro-Rivera is a scholar of American political behavior. His research focuses on the intersection of race, religion and politics in the United States with a particular interest on the growing population of secular Latinos (with no religious identification).

Dr. Navarro-Rivera has published many articles, book chapters, columns, and research reports on American political behavior and comments regularly in the national and international press commenting on issues related to politics, secularism, and Latinos in America.

He has a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Connecticut, where he also earned a M.A. He completed his B.A. at the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Río Piedras.
