Juan Arbelaez

Juan is a Mass Communicator and Graphic Designer with studies in Organizational Communication and specialization in television production and new digital media. From a young age he participated as a musician, event organizer and manager in multiple projects.

Parallel to his studies and work as an audiovisual producer, Juan has been professionally involved since 1994 in the music industry, as director, curator, booker, event producer inside and outside the country.

He worked as project director for more than 10 years with the multinational Evenpro (now MOVE Concerts), performing in the production of Festivals, concerts, events and Marketing. Some events in his portfolio include: Metallica, Rolling Stones, The Cure, Shakira, Beyoncé, Iron Maiden, Green Day, Rammstein, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jamiroquai, among many others, as well as national tours with Carlos Vives, international festivals such as Terra Fest and the Maximus in Brazil and Argentina.

In 2017 he accepted the invitation to work as Regional Manager in GTS / Universal Music for the promotion and sale of artists in the region, such as Yatra, Karol G, FEID, Christian Nodal, David Bisbal, Juanes, among many others.

Few years later, decided to move to a different shore of the industry as a Head of Label relationship for Andean and CAM region, with the French Distributor, Believe Music.

In 2022, Juan creates his own Company 4D Musik, an agency oriented to quality service and consulting in Artist booking and events design and production.

Juan has been curator of the Latin American Network of Cultural Industries, Member of the advisory committee of Rock al Parque, invited to the Interactive Music Festival (Barranquilla), invited several times by the Ministry of Culture to do workshops, also participated as speaker in Plantario 2015, business meeting in Bafim (Buenos Aires), IMS (Israel), FIMPRO (Guadalajara), ILMC (London), PollStar MC (Nashville) and BOMM (Bogotá). Juan is co-founder of AIMCO (Music Asociation of Colombia). He participated as a jury in the Global Battle of The Bands, Curator of the National Festivals OktoberFest Club Colombia, Curator of the International Art Fair Barcú, Curator of the Summer Festival in Puerto Gaitán, as well as lecturer and speaker in multiple events related to the Music Industry in Colombia and LATAM region.
