Jordan Wimmer began her career on the buy-side at Eurofinanciere d’Investissments (EFG Monaco) as an Analyst on the Hedge Fund Advisory team. She spent 8 years in the hedge fund industry as Director at DQN Global Capital Partners and Partner at Nomos Capital Partners, running the European capital-raising desk out of London, England, covering EMEA investors (UHNWI, private banks, family offices, asset managers, and sovereign funds). In 2012, she cofounded Kyro Capital, a boutique capital-raising consultancy focusing on alternative investment deals, resulting in a personal track record of assets raised north of $1.1 billion+.

In 2015, Jordan moved to San Francisco, California where she was a member of the founding team (third employee) at Long Game Savings (acquired by Truist Bank) a financial technology startup. In 2017, she returned to her hometown of Toronto, Canada and founded Thrive Savings, a financial technology and e-commerce mobile application that was backed by Techstars and Western Union with assets acquired in 2022.

As a lifelong entrepreneur, Jordan serves as a mentor to technology startups with Techstars Boulder (the largest seed investor in startups across North America). She has been featured on BNN Canada, Forbes, Reuters, and Global News Canada, and has addressed the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston on financial health and technology imperatives. As a film buff, Jordan has invested in and Executive Produced several movies including Ferrari (Michael Mann/Adam Driver/Penelope Cruz), Rumours (Guy Maddin/ Cate Blanchett/Alicia Vikander), The Apprentice (Ali Abassi/Jeremy Strong/Sebastian Stan), and The Cleaner (Martin Campbell/Clive Owen/Daisy Ridley). Jordan holds her Improv 1 certification from the famed Second City.

Jordan received her MBA from the International University of Monaco and an Honors BA from Western University in Ontario, Canada. She holds a Certificate in Securities and Derivatives from the UK’s FCA and a Certificate in Exempt Market Products from the Investment Funds Institute of Canada.
