I've worked extensively with refugees in Ireland - including working with separated children - and in the areas of human trafficking, human rights law, research and drafting. I also have a number of years experience in online editing, writing, social media and strategic communication.

I'm passionate about human rights and equality, with a particular interest in Irish domestic affairs, international affairs and women in sport. My interests also include formal and informal politics, social movements, public policy, media and representation, and the nature of society, democracy and authoritarianism.

I hold an MA in International Security and Conflict Studies and my undergraduate degree is a Bachelor in Civil Law.

Aside from all that, I enjoy kick boxing, tea, art, music, reading, travel and running around parks. (The photo on the right is by me.)
