James Hugh Comey is a freelance writer, retired educator, and Writer-in-Residence at Stages of Imagination, a nationally-recognized, nonprofit, entertainment and learning organization he co-founded. His coming-of-age, magical realism novel, Uncommon Glory,post-apocalyptic, science-fantasy novel, The Wild World, and adult urban fantasy, The Wicked Claw, are available at most digital storefronts. He received two Silver Telly Awards for an adapted film; his CDs received a Parents' Choice Award and a Parents' Choice Recommendation, and he's been published in national and international journals.
