My journey and interest in bodybuilding started when I joined my first gym at University in my first year. I’ve always had an interest in sports and keeping fit but the constraints of the compulsory scheduled training didn’t appeal to me at University as I wanted more independence, control and the freedom to workout when I wanted to. This way of thinking lent itself to the ethos of bodybuilding incredibly well.

Prior to working independantly as a Personal trainer/model I always felt I was just doing what everyone else was telling me to such as GCSE's, A-levels and University - trusting that my parents and peers were giving me the best advice for my future career. However, by the time I had finished University - even getting a 2:1 from a red brick university left me struggling to find a job.

Luckily whilst at University I discovered my interest in body building after training pretty religiously throughout University with friends who made perfect hard-working gym partners.

With their help I left behind my weaker self who was both physically and mentally weaker and ‘built’ myself into a stronger, more independent and confident person. At 6ft but only 73kg I was lean and in shape but lacked any real muscularity, despite playing rugby since the age of 12.

I'm now 11% BF and 87kg aiming for 90+kg at the end of the year with most mass to be added to my arms and legs.

I'm currently a Personal Trainer and Duty Manager at SimplyGym Telford.
