Hey and greetings from Sunny Los Angeles, my name is Ryan Neal. I am originally from Long Island, NY and moved to Los Angeles about five years ago. Being a shy individual, I decided to take an acting class as an elective in college to fulfill my BFA in Graphic Design. My first day of class, my twin brother Justin, yup we are Identical, comes to help cheer me on, and the teacher says we are going to do a little exercise with Justin required to participate. I am to drown in the middle of the classroom and Justin is the lifeguard on duty at the beach (near the classroom door), whom is in charge of saving my life. Lying in the center of the classroom with nearly seconds before I succumb to my first theatrical death, Justin comes paddling up to me (standing upright as he paddles) and attempts to bring me to shore (again towards the front door). Being 20lbs heavier than he was at the time and not realizing I can't just be dead weight, I ended up drowning, not before Justin and I broke character, started laughing uncontrollably while still floating in our imagined ocean with the entire class watching. That was an extremely fond memory and the beginning of my professional training as an actor. Justin...not so much.
