Having served as a Chief Executive Officer in the charity sector, Graeme has a track record of guiding strategic growth with a focus on sustainable, locally-led solutions. With a background as an Early Childhood Educator, he brings a unique perspective to his role at UWS, connecting the power of education with global social impact, and is committed to building strong, ethical organisations that deliver lasting change.

His 30+ years of professional experience span the realms of international development, public engagement, and business leadership, providing him with a unique perspective on tackling social and environmental challenges.

As a non-executive director at Fika Catering Co. and Bloom Coffee Academy, Graeme champions ethical business practices and uses his expertise to support this Certified B Corp business and social enterprise in their mission to support sector change, environmentally sustainable service, enable livelihoods and training, and promote positive change.

Graeme's leadership and professional background extends across large and complex international organisations like the Olympics, The Salvation Army and YMCA through to smaller entities like startup businesses, local charities and community groups. He previously founded an innovative social-justice consultancy called ‘Big Tent’, and a small local anti- human trafficking charity.
