Goffredo earned more than two decades of professional experience in IT governance and management, for several worldwide organizations, as a business advisor, IT manager, CIO, CTO, CSO, and COO. He also achieved major prizes and honors from universities and institutions for innovative technological developments meant to solve global societal issues.

Currently serving as TAFFD's Chief Technology Officer, Goffredo has been an Honorary Member, Ambassador to Italy, Chief Marketing Officer, and member of the Board of Directors since 2019. Transdisciplinary Agorà for Future Discussions (TAFFD's) is a global non-governmental organization registered in the USA and South Africa that serves as a futuristic think tank. TAFFD's helps people understand the benefits and challenges of technology applied to high-impact industries and disciplines across the world.

Furthermore, Goffredo serves as a Global Startup Mentor at Singularity University, a for-benefit corporation headquartered at NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley. The University provides educational programs, innovative partnerships, and a startup accelerator to help individuals, businesses, institutions, investors, NGOs, and governments understand pioneering technologies and how to use them to positively impact billions of people.

He facilitates several non-profit projects, and he is an Advisory Board Member of the Lifeboat Foundation (Cybercrime board, Futurists board, Information Sciences board, Robotics / AI board), which is dedicated to encouraging scientific advancements while helping humanity survive existential risks and potential misuse of increasingly powerful technologies.
