Because of his dedication to philanthropic endeavors, Mr. Eason was appointed as Director of Community Relations in June 2009 for Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc., www.amped4acure.org a non profit organization that supports cancer research through music. Community organizing, special event promotion and marketing are Mr. Eason’s strongest core competencies. He has enjoyed a successful event planning and marketing career over the last ten years. Mr. Eason has an exemplary background in managing targeted public relations and marketing initiatives with clients in the entertainment, nonprofit and fashion industries. Currently he is responsible for the research, design, planning and execution of special events and marketing campaigns for a number of organizations including Empower WIB, is a empowering motivational forum and informal business guide for women in business. Developing insight on start up business though podcast calls, Speaker forms and daily business tips. Grassroot Connections, is a non-profit organization that specializes in one’s Personal Empowerment (self-efficiency, body image, social support, budget and financial management). The Charlotte Literary Festival, is an annual event held in Charlotte, NC that focuses on youth and adult literature and literacy. The Red Pump Project-Charlotte (AIDS Awareness Organization) and Concrete2Green LLC, a socially conscious company that promotes the sport of urban soccer in the United States. In recent years, Mr. Eason has been instrumental in the Charlotte community in bringing awareness to social, educational and community causes. Mr. Eason’s motivation is simple—the desire to promote discussion, appreciation and philanthropic activities for all members of the community in as many venues and forms of expression available.
