Clarissa is a life coach and public speaker originally from Queens, NY who currently resides in Midlothian, VA. Clarissa has raised two sons who are now adults, one being a second generation college graduate. She did not allow the fact that she was a teen mother to dissuade her from achieving her education or professional goals. Clarissa earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from VCU and is currently working to complete her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. After more than 15 years of experience mentoring, counseling, encouraging and supporting women and families, Clarissa became a Certified Life Coach who is driven to help other women realize their passions, live to their fullest potential and become the empowered women they were created to be. Having overcome a number of obstacles in her own life, Clarissa believes she is better equipped to help those who experience similar challenges in their lives. She is an encourager by nature and has known for a long time that it was her purpose to encourage women of all ages. Clarissa believes that effecting positive change in other’s lives is her ultimate purpose. Clarissa’s immediate goals include: building effective, positive relationships to grow her personal businesses and to affect the lives of others through coaching while establishing an entrepreneurial legacy of purpose fulfillment. Her aspirations include staying humble and being guided by God to be all that He has created her to be.

Clarissa is currently employed in the mental health field and is actively involved in the mental health community. She regularly pursues opportunities to volunteer with various social organizations.

Clarissa is the Founder and Host of Lifelines to Success Family Empowerment Conference.

Clarissa is the CEO of Purposed by Design Coaching and Consulting providing 1:1 coaching, group coaching, public speaking, and various workshops. Clarissa is also the Founder of Lifelines to Success, a 501 (c)3, Non-Profit Organization. where she provides various programs and services to the community. Some of the services that are provided include:
