Ms. Christine Johnson is the founder of DiversiTech, which was founded in 2011. It is an organization that is the touchpoint for underrepresented communities to access and connect with the bevy of resources dedicated to fostering technology entrepreneurship and startup success. DiversiTech has been recognized by the Washington Business Journal, Black Enterprise, Tech Cocktail, Silicon Bayou and Tech Crunch.

She has over 15 years of experience as a nationally recognized event producer, entrepreneur, published author, membership and retention specialist, marketing professional as well as an arts education creator.

Ms. Johnson has participated in various conferences discussing women, youth and diversity in technolgy entrepreneurship around the country: Foster.ly (Virginia), National Summit on Building 21st Century Urban Innovation Ecosystems at Rutgers University (New Jersey), South by Southwest (Texas), America21 Project’s Leadership Summit (Maryland), Community Broadband Summit (Washington, D.C.), BlogTech Summit (WDC) and RailsGirlsDC She++ Documentary Screening for Girls In Tech (WDC).

Her portfolio includes being interviewed on the topic of technology diversity by Technology Today Radio Show, WPFW 89.3 FM (DC), The Mario Armstrong Show on Sirius/XM Radio, WYPR (NPR), Womensphere Radio, along with LSP Effect.

Ms. Johnson is also respected in the event production industry for her work with a number of clients and executing award-winning technology and entrepreneurial programs for Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) that were recognized by Entrepreneur magazine and Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). She is also noted for her work connecting organizations with the newest bustling movement of technology entrepreneurship.

Ms. Johnson's recognitions include the recipient of the Greater Baltimore Technology Council (GB.TC) and Women In Bio Service awards for outstanding work. She has been lauded as one of the most influential women in the Washington, D.C. technology community by In the Capitol and DC Luxury Magazines.

A staple of various technology entrepreneurship ecosystems, she can be found frequently networking with those in technology commercialization, economic development or the DC & Bmore Tech communities, Startup America regions and other national industry leaders.
