Arash Baghaei

I am currently a PhD student in the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech. As a member of the System Dynamics Lab, I am working on simulation based policy analysis research projects. My primary area of interest is working on complex large-scale interdisciplinary problems which involve social, economic, technical, cultural, and environmental aspects.

I have a graduate degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and have received my undergradute degree from Sharif University of Technology, both in Mechanical Engineering. I have been born and raised in Tehran, Iran. I love to read, socialize, and cook in my spare time.
