My mission in life is to spread love and help create the most compassionate world possible - largely (but not exclusively) through music - and to inspire and assist people to find joy, confidence, freedom and well-being through their own creativity.

My varied work includes facilitation of community music workshops (instrumental and vocal) with a range of client groups and teaching 1:1 music students. In my local neighbourhood I lead a community choir which has wellbeing, confidence-building and enjoyment as its central aims. I have also been leading Singing for Health groups for several local authorities. I love what I do and am very blessed to be working with such wonderful people!

I'm passionate about improvisation in community music settings, particularly using the Lifemusic method (in which I am a trained facilitator). I'm currently undertaking PhD research into improvisation in community music at the Institute for Education at Bath Spa University. I also recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Songwriting at Bath Spa University.

As a songwriter & composer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, I have released 3 albums to date, 2 co-written with my husband and band-mate Andy Prince. Over the last 5 years or so we have performed regularly at gigs and festivals in the UK and Ibiza, including Glastonbury Festival 2013 & 2014. We can be found online under the band names Anthea Neads & Andy Prince, Love Revolution, Ibicentric, and Andy & Anthea Prince.

I'm a dynamic people-person who loves both the management and delivery of community music projects. I love generating ideas for group music-making sessions in a variety of settings and delivering them with a range of client groups of all ages. I am always happy to create a tailor-made project or one-off session. I have extensive experience in project management and multi-agency partnership working within a community and local government context, creating projects which make a genuine difference to people's well-being.

I also deliver projects in schools, for example a Surrey County Council project supporting GCSE Music pupils with songwriting, and I privately teach 1:1 lessons in singing, clarinet, piano, keyboard, songwriting, music theory and recorder.

Please see my website for information on the range of work I do. For information about the band I'm in with my husband Andy, please see our band website Facebook page - www.facebook.com/loverevolutionmusic.
