Bio Andre van Dam

Andre was born in the Netherlands in 1964. He lived and travelled abroad from 2008-2019, mainly in Asia and the Middle East. In Battambang, Cambodia, André owned the gallery FP Gallery Battambang. The past half year he lived in Atyrau, Kazachstan. Here, he continued his workshops to share his love for photography.

His pictures were inspired by the places he lived, for example rural China, Cambodia and Qatar. He specialised in travel photography, which focuses on nature, architecture and people in the places he visits. His preference is taking pictures of people in their natural environment.
