Watch my reel

Andrea Latorre, a Minneapolis native, is an up and coming actor working and living in Los Angeles, CA. Andrea is a Meisner and Chekhov trained professional actor, who studied with her mentor, Lev Mailer at the Lev Mailer Actors Studio. Since then, she has studied improv at the Upright Citizen's Brigade and has added Shdanoff technique to her arsenal. She was also delighted to have discovered and have studied Craig Wallace's on-camera audition technique!

Andrea is fluent in Spanish and Italian, and has lived in Italy and South America. She delights in being ethnically ambiguous, as she appreciates the ease of connection others have with her.

Andrea started her career in theater and quickly became a sought after actor, working for notable companies, including the Stages Theater Company in Minneapolis. Theater turned into bi-lingual musicals, commercials, film and television. Currently, she is the lead in the Indie film, "Seeds of Resentment,'' a feature film in pre-production. She wrapped a gritty short called "Disdain" and just finished shooting a new webisode, "Unconventionally L.A." In addition, she was the lead in two short films.

Andrea is honored and grateful to be able to pursue her passion as a career, and to have been trained by Lev Mailer. The definitive, "The Film Actor's Complete Career Guide," listed Lev Mailer among the best "in teaching of acting techniques for beginning, intermediate, and professional actors in Los Angeles," honoring him on the same list as his own teacher, Sanford Meisner.
