Akshay is currently working as a Category Manager (Mobiles) for Amazon India leading end to end business for OnePlus & realme brands on A.in.
He has previously worked with P&G India managing national eCommerce business and also has experience in modern retail & general trade businesses. Akshay holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and an engineering degree in Computer Sciences from DA-IICT, Gandhinagar.
At XLRI, Akshay was elected as the General Secretary representing 850 students on campus and chaired the Student Affairs Council (SAC) 2016-17. During his summer internship with Procter & Gamble where he received a Pre-Placement Offer, he was responsible for designing and rolling-out the Digital Capability Roadmap for the India Sales division.
Akshay has previously been a two-time Google Summer of Code Intern where he worked on Google-sponsored open-source projects in a multi-cultural setting.
With an undying love for logical argumentation and structured thinking, Akshay has a passion for debating, reading and writing.
