I'm a social worker (LCSW), clinician, and researcher. I have worked in the community mental health field for over a decade in a variety of roles such as group home manager, case manager, outpatient therapist, and clinical supervisor. Currently, I am working towards a PhD in Social Work. My research interests include: addiction, rural social work, opioids, & MATs (access, utilization, & stigma).
I am proud to be a social worker, because I know that our profession stands up for and empowers the oppressed and denigrated. As long as disparities exist in our world, social work will have a voice.
