Educational Development and Information Professional in Toronto, ON, Canada

Bonjour et bienvenue ! Hello and welcome!

I am fascinated by research, data and technology particularly how they can inform, as well as transform, our practices while improving efficiency and the quality of programs and service delivery. This applies to public and private organizations and institutions and is truer than ever in the 21st century knowledge economy.

Currently, I work in higher education as an educational developer. I apply my educational development, instructional design, and librarianship skills to information management, information practices, resource development in teaching & learning contexts.

My research focus is on Information Use Environments and Human-Information Interaction in education settings with a specific focus on how educators access, use, share, and interact with information and technology, and how these are applied within an organization to deliver the greatest value possible in a timely, responsive and accurate way.

My work goal is to support productivity, inquiry and lifelong learning by providing individuals with information, resources, and opportunities they require to develop the skills they need in order to learn and attain their goal in practical, real-world ways.

Je suis bilingue en français et anglais. Je crois que c'est nécessaire d'avoir une compréhension et une appréciation de la langue française car elle est une fondation de la société canadienne.
