My name is Kara Carrell and I'm a Full-Stack Web Developer, building on 10 years of non-profit experience dedicated to the Chicago community, with a fiery excitement for technology. In my current career, I'm committed to caring for & growing codebases that challenge the “Way Things Are”, through freelance work, and by dedicating my time to educating people of all ages to enter the world of technology.

I can be found geeking out with code through my work with Blue1647, Code Platoon, and volunteering at various groups and organizations like Write/Speak/Code and Latinx Techies.
