Meteorologist in Washington, DC

Visit my website

I am a Meteorologist at the U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management in the Office of Renewable Energy Programs; where I support the environmentally responsible development of offshore renewable energy.

I am passionate about inspiring the next generation of environmental science professionals and lead weather talks and demonstrations at schools throughout the Washington, DC metro area. I further inspire our youth through my Discover Earth workshops and camps.

Prior to my current pursuits I was a Meteorologist for the National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center supporting the Famine Early Warning System Network (FEWS Net) Project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development.

I value time with my family, enjoy discovering new places and cultures, and unwind outdoors through camping and sailing. I am always looking to expand my network so feel free to say hello!
